George Washington Grant, Jr., 93, passed away February 18, 2021.

A native of Greenville County, he was the son of the late George Washington Grant, Sr. and Gladys Hall Grant; a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and a self-employed barber.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Irene Heaton Grant of the home; three daughters, Cheryl Pyle (Terry) of California, Marianne Dowless (Charles) of Sumter and Margaret Crump of Taylors; one son, Fred E. Crump, Jr. (Lori) of Taylors; one sister, Mary Lou Dill (Alvin); eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, Phillip Anthony Grant.

Funeral Services:

A funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday, February 22, 2021 at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Pastor Lonnie Polson and assisted by Rev. Al Sherbert.

Burial will be private.

The family will be at the home.
