Margie Guynelle Owens Rainey, 74, passed away October 19, 2020.

A native of Greer, the daughter of the late Belvin G. and Margie Wooten Owens, she was a Class of 1964 graduate of Blue Ridge High School, a domestic engineer, and a member of Washington Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband: Lawrence E. Rainey of the home, two sons, Rev. Joel Rainey and his wife, Amy of Sheperdstown, West Virginia and Jason Rainey and his wife, Jenn of Greer, and five grandchildren: Samuel Rainey, Seth Rainey, Grace Rainey, Mois�s Rainey and Maribella Rainey.

She was predeceased by three brothers: Boyce Owens, Carroll Owens and Dale Owens.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Washington Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Drew Hines, Rev. Keith Kelly, Rev. Billy Cashion and Rev. Joel Rainey.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held after the service in the church.

The body will lie in state 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2020 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at their respective homes.
