Hattie Inez "Granny" Melton Burns, 92, died April 5, 2015 at the McCall Hospice House.

A native of Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Caleb Leon and Tollie Cothran Melton, a retired employee of Kemet, a former employee of Union Carbide, and a member of Burnsview Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Mother?s Sunday School Class and the Joy Club.

Surviving:

Surviving are two daughters, Frances Elizabeth McFee of Pelzer and Kathy Marie Hall of Greer; one son, Stanley Carroll Burns of Greer; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by a daughter, Sara Joyce Roberts.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Burnsview Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Tim Huckaby and Rev. Ray Hatcher.

Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park.
