Hazel Sara Shirley Sherk, 94, of 455 Wood Road, died October 24, 2012 at her home.
A native of Pickens County, daughter of the late Edward and Sallie Leslie Shirley, she was a homemaker and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Wilbur Irvin Sherk of the home; two sons, Joel Russell (Faye) of Greer and Greg Sherk of Taylors; a daughter, Joyce Russell Walker (Carl) of San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Sherk was predeceased by one son, Jerrell H. Russell, three sisters, Estelle Shirley, Lucille Shirley Reynolds and Katie Ward, and a brother, Larry Shirley.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Dr. Tom Burns. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home.
