Evelyn Hortense McCoy Searcy, 90, widow of William Horace Searcy, passed away July 29, 2020.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Thomas Roy and Lina Jones McCoy, she was a homemaker and a member of Oneal Baptist Church for 59 years.

Surviving:

Surviving are a son, William Horace Searcy, Jr. of Taylors; a daughter, Joyce Ann Searcy of Taylors; three grandchildren, Lauren Searcy of Taylors, Christopher Searcy of Inman and Chandler Searcy of Myrtle Beach; and special friends, Larry Blackmon of Taylors and Arnold Carroll of Taylors.

Mrs. Searcy was predeceased by a brother, Grady L. McCoy.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2020 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Michael Goldston with webcasting available at www.thewoodmortuary.com.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be James Searcy, Thomas Searcy, Johnny Black, Nickolas Baughman, Fred Miller and Greg Dill.

The family is at their respective homes.
