James Ansel Abbott, Jr., 83, passed away February 13, 2021.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late James Ansel Abbott, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Long. He was a United States Navy Veteran, a retired truck driver, member of the Hejaz Shrine and a Southern Baptist.

Surviving:

Surviving are one son, Steve Abbott (Kay) of Greer; two daughters, Jennifer Robertson (Michael) of Taylors; Angie Clark of Taylors; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services:

A graveside service will be held 2 PM Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Wood Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Todd Johnson.

The body will lie in state 11 AM-7 PM Monday, February 15, 2021 at The Wood Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 905 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
