James Albert "Jimmy" Deese, 55, died August 7, 2014 at Panama City, FL.

A native of Baltimore, MD, son of Helen Ellison White of Lyman and the late Clayton Harold Deese, he was retired after 21 years of service from the U.S. Navy and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving:

Surviving in addition to his mother are one sister, Judy C. Edwards and husband Jimmy of Greer also several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Deese was predeceased by two brothers, Daniel Deese and Richard "Ricky" White.

Funeral Services:

Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Friendship Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Steve Durham and Dr. Gary Rogers.

Visitation will be held 2:00-2:45 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church.

The family is at the home of his mother.
