James Edward "Mouchie" Johnson, 66, of 2221 Coal Pit Road, died July 1, 2015 at his home after a battle with cancer and is now resting in peace in heaven.

A native of Lumberton, NC, son of the late Roy and Vera Hyatt Johnson, he was the successful business owner of Johnson Auto Body Repair for over 35 years.


Surviving are his wife, Cindy Cody Johnson of the home; two special step-daughters, Brandi Chandler (Josh) and Tiffany Gilliam (Shane); one step-granddaughter, Abigail Chandler and one step-granddaughter on the way; one brother, Kenneth Johnson (Irma); one sister, Teresa Jones (Ricky) along with nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews all from Florida; one special aunt, Geneva from Lumberton, NC; two daughters, Aileen Johnson and Jamie Johnson and one granddaughter, McKenzie.

Funeral Services:

A celebration of life service will be held at Jerry Bruce?s farm, 2221 Crane Road, Greer at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2015 by Rev. David Allen.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service at the farm.

The family will be at the home, 2221 Coal Pit Road, Greer.
