James Oliver Burns, 68, widower of Judith Sawyer Burns, passed away August 14, 2018.
A native of Greer, son of the late Willard O. and Annie Belle Morrow Burns, he was a retired employee of General Electric and a member of Burnsview Baptist Church.
Surviving:
Surviving are two daughters, Pam Scott (Skip) of Woodruff and Lisa Ledbetter (David) of Roebuck; two sons, Jeff Gentry (Andrea) of Landrum and Jamie Burns (Jamie) of Greer; a brother, Phil Burns (Rosemary) of Duncan; a sister, Pat Baldwin (David) of Greer; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services:
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 17, 2018 at Burnsview Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Tim Huckaby.
Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at their respective homes.
