James William Hellams, 87, widower of Dorothy Anne Pittman Hellams, passed away May 5, 2020.

A native of Hickory Tavern, son of the late Rob Roy and Ruth Davenport Hellams, he was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired employee of Michelin and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are a daughter, Deborah Ann Sudduth (Frank) of Inman; two sons, Mark Timothy Hellams (Kim) of Taylors and William Ronnie Hellams of Lyman; two brothers, R.B. Hellams of Conestee and Roy Hellams (Sandy) of Simpsonville; one sister, Emma Benscoter (Bob) of Conestee; and one grandson, Shaun.

Mr. Hellams was predeceased by two brothers, Jack Hellams and J.Y. Hellams and two sisters, Mary Faulkner and Edna Franklin.

Funeral Services:

A private graveside service will be held at Wood Memorial Park.

The body will be at the home after 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2020.
