Janice Fay "Nanny" Fleenor Meade, 78, widow of Raymond Lee Meade, passed away June 2, 2019.

A native of Nickelsville, Virginia, daughter of the late Fred M. and Margaret Francisco Fleenor, she was a retired employee of Springs Industries and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are a daughter, Sherry M. Brewer of Landrum; one son, Kevin D. Meade (Candice) of Landrum; a daughter, Susan M. Clayton of Holly Springs; four sisters, Brenda Harrison of Taylors, Barbara Choate, Kay Fleenor and Ann Ball all of Virginia; six grandchildren, Jennifer Meade, Tina Meade, Stephanie Brewer (Diego), Kayla Close (Dustin), Tiffany McEntyre (Allen) and Samantha Meade; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Meade was predeceased by one son, Butch Meade, a brother, Bill Fleenor, one grandson, Russell Meade and a great-grandson, Clay Mikael.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2019 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Malcolm Lance.

Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary.
