Jerry Ray Vassey passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the age of 65.

Son of Etolia Clayton Vassey of Campobello and the late Ray J. Vassey, Jerry was a lifelong resident of Campobello and worked as a realtor for Allen Tate.

He was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church where he previously served as a deacon and took joy in serving in the food pantry.

His kind and precious smile will be forever missed.

Surviving:

Jerry is survived by his wife, Cathy Ivey Vassey of 45 years; his two sons, Clay Vassey (Heather) of Columbia and Brad Vassey (Carrie) of York; three grandchildren, Ivey, Hudson and Titus.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Holly Springs Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Tim Clark, Rev. Henry Stanford and Rev. Brad Vassey.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
