Jimmie Renee Evans Knighton, 69, widow of James Mike Knighton, passed away September 16, 2021.

A native of Greenville, S.C., daughter of the late James Carlos Evans and Doris Ruth Smith Robison, she was a retired employee of the Department of Social Services and member of 4 Points Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two daughters, Jennifer Kelly (Tim) of Duncan, Kayla Chan (Sergio) of Simpsonville; one sister, Kathy Evans of Greer; and four grandchildren, Abbigale Kelly, Brianna Kelly, Carter Kelly and Elon Chan.

She was also predeceased by two daughters, Amy Evans and Amanda Evans; one brother, David "Buddy" Evans; and one granddaughter, Kaide Kelly.

Funeral Services:

Due to the passing of our parents within 24 hours, a joint funeral service will be
held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel,
conducted by Chaplain Bryan Bailey.

Visitation will be held 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the mortuary prior to the
service.

The family is at the home.
