Jimmy Young Jr. 75, husband of Beulah Cannon Young of 109 East Church St., was called from labor to reward on Saturday, December 8, 2012 in McCall Hospice House, Simpsonville, SC.

Native of Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Jimmy Sr. and Eula Gilliam Young.

Educated in the public schools of Spartanburg County, he was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church in Woodruff and a former owner of Jimmy Young Builders.

Surviving:

By other than his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sons, Marvin Young and Harold Williams and 3 siblings, Willie Jessie Young, Broadus Young and Ms. Eula Edmonds.

Also surviving are: sons, Stanley Young of Taylors, SC and Jimmy Patrick Young of the home; daughters, Cheryl Young and Lisa McMorris, both of Greer, and Andrea Harris of Hillsborough, NC; brothers, George Young of Duncan, SC and Rev. Andy Young of Startex, SC; sisters, Ruth Dogan of Woodruff, SC, Dora Hunter of Baltimore, MD, Emma Young of Duncan, SC, Gimmie Nell Smith of Anderson, SC and Drucilla Nesbitt of Pottsville, PA.

Funeral Services:

Services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, December 13, 2012 in Bethel United Methodist Church with the Pastor, Rev. Audrey Boozer and Rev. Andy Young, officiating. Burial will follow.
