John David Johnson, Sr., 82, passed away January 4, 2022.

A native of Saluda, North Carolina, son of the late Henry Clayton and Lona Mae Pace Johnson, he was a retired employee of Esso and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Frances Irene Wooten Johnson of the home; a son, John David Johnson, Jr. (Pam) Lyman; three daughters, Bambi Irene Johnson of Lyman, Myra Annette Sweatt (Joel) of Williamston, and Melissa Mae Gravley of Lyman; one brother, Clyde Johnson of Greenville; seven grandchildren, Brittany, Hannah, Cheyenne, Malachi, Daulton, J.J., and Jeffrey; and two great-grandchildren, Bryleigh and Everleigh.

Mr. Johnson was predeceased by one brother, Arthur Johnson.

Funeral Services:

A graveside service will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Hillcrest Memory Gardens conducted by Rev. Joel Sweatt.
