John Earle Greene, 76, passed away January 4, 2017 at his home.

A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late Earle L. and Sarah Leopard Greene, he was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired painter and of the Holiness faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are a son, Donnie Greene (Bev) of Jackson, Michigan and two sisters, Estelle West of Woodruff and Josie Howard (Curley) of Greer.

Mr. Greene was predeceased by a brother, Buddy Greene.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Wayne Hinton and Rev. Tim McConnell.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of his sister, Estelle West, 1723 Edwards Road, Woodruff, SC 29388.
