John William Crain, 76, passed away September 5, 2021.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Sam D. and Lillian Henson Crain, he was a retired employee of Stevens Aviation and a member of Ebenezer Welcome Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Joyce Ann West Crain of the home; a daughter, Tanya Crain McCormick (Terry) of Richmond Hill, Georgia; a son, William Todd Crain (Allison) of Landrum; two brothers, Joe Crain (Barbara) of Landrum and Keith Crain of Linville, North Carolina; a sister, Aldean Crain Manwaring of Landrum; and five grandchildren, Cullen, Brayden and Caitlin McCormick, and Makayla and Noah Crain.

Mr. Crain was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Phyllis Crain.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Ebenezer Welcome Baptist Church Family Mission Center conducted by Pastor Vince Gainey.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Thursday at the church family mission center.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ebenezer Welcome Baptist Church Family Mission Center, 4005 N. Highway 414, Landrum, South Carolina 29356.
