Josephine Hudson Bruce, 94, passed away December 19, 2021.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Carter Paul and Ruth Mulligan Hudson, she attended Furman University, was the former Director of Preschool Children's education at Taylors First Baptist Church, and a lifetime member of Taylors First Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are a son, Jerry Bruce (Patsy) of Spartanburg; a daughter, Jeanie Bruce Lee (Lucian) of Greer; a sister, Ann Hudson Henson of Taylors; three grandchildren, Lee Bruce (Jill), Whitney Bruce, and Bruce Lee (Lauren); and three great-grandchildren, Parker Lee, Andrew Lee, and Molly Lee.

She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Layton Bruce.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Taylors First Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Jerry Long. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be held after the service in the Welcome Center.

The family is at the home.
