Juanita Evington Bailey, 92, went home to be with the Lord, early Tuesday morning, April 15, 2014, in Taylors, SC.

A native of Taylors, she was a daughter of the late Wallace and Nannie Belcher Evington.

Her fighting spirit carried her through nine years without her husband, Douglas E. Bailey, who passed in 2005. She loved her Taylors community, worked in Greenville County Schools for over one-third of her life, and was a member of Lee Road Baptist Church for the last forty years.

Surviving:

Surviving are her two daughters, Nancy B. Smith of Taylors and Malinda Bishop (Barry Mabe) of TN; four grandsons, Brandon D. and William Jones, Greg and Mark Bishop and seven great-grandchildren, Brittany, Ashley, William and Camaro Jones, Evie, Layla, and Christopher Bishop.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Rev. Mark Bishop.

Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at her home.
