Kenneth Godfrey Cooke, 84, of Abner Creek Road, died August 25, 2015 at McCall Hospice House.
A native of Cherokee County, son of the late George Godfrey and Maude Wilkins Cook, he was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, a retired employee of Eastern Business Forms and a member of Word of Faith, Columbia.
Surviving:
Surviving are his wife, Doris Rudicill Cooke of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Myra Cooke of Taylors; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Randy Flowers of Newport News, Virginia and Susan and Tom Rich of Columbia; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services:
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, conducted by Rev. Thomas Rich and Mr. Randall Flowers.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home.
