Kenneth Jerome Brown, 40, of 300 Regency Road, died Sunday, December 23, 2012 in Mary Black Hospital, after a short illness.

Native of Union County, he was a son of Anthony Brown of Houston, TX and the late Lillie Maude Peppers Grant.

A Baptist by faith, Mr. Brown was educated in the public schools of Union County and received his BA degree from Benedict College in Columbia, SC.

He was a former Deputy Sheriff of Laurens County, a former Union Policeman, a former Truck driver and trainer for Werner Trucking Company, a former trucker for Benor Logistics, a former employee of Gibson and Brown Funeral Home in Union, SC and he was the former owner and operator of The Greenville County Funeral Home which later was renamed Greenville Metropolitan Funeral Home.

Mr. Brown was recently affiliated with the Tyler Perry Studios out of Atlanta, GA., in which he appeared in several episodes of House Of Pain.



Surviving:

Also surviving are: a sister, Kianna Wynn of El Paso, TX; step-father, Wilbert Grant of McCray, GA; grandmothers, Lacretia Walker of Delray Beach, FL and Cleola Peppers of Union, SC; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 1:30 pm Saturday, December 29, 2012 in the Chapel of The Gilmore Mortuary with Pastor Courtney Cohen, Officiating. Burial will follow in New Olive Grove Cemetery in Norris, SC.
