Lander William Cooper, 94, of 110 W. Lee Road, widower of Doris Lynn Davis Cooper, died January 3, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital.

A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late Frank Lander and Eva Watson Cooper, he was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran where he served in the 3rd Division Iwo Jima and Guam, a retired superintendent at Greenwood Mills and a member of Praise Cathedral.

Surviving:

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, David and Genevieve Cooper of Easley; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren, Amy and David Stone; and two great-great-grandchildren, Will and Olivia Stone.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Praise Cathedral, conducted by Pastor Jerry Madden and Pastor Bobby Johnson.

Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Honorary escort will be the Senior Adults of Praise Cathedral.

Visitation will be held 12:00-1:20 p.m. Wednesday at Praise Cathedral.

The family is at the home of his son, David Cooper, 203 Patrick Ave., Easley, SC 29642.
