Charles Layton Pittman, 74, passed away March 11, 2018.

A native of Pelham, son of the late Claude Monroe and Jessie Ruth McAbee Pittman, he was the former owner of Quality Woodwork and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Linda Faye Cobb Pittman of the home; one son, Chris Pittman (Carla) of Roebuck; a daughter-in-law, Wendy Pittman of Greer; a brother, Junior Pittman of Greer; one sister, Kay Ladd (Wallace) of Wellford; and two grandchildren, Emma Pittman and Matt Pittman.

Mr. Pittman was predeceased by one son, Richard Pittman and two sisters, Joyce Cox and Barbara Dorman.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Friendship Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Steve Durham and Rev. David Cobb.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Honorary escort will be the Seekers Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary.
