Lillie Mae Henderson Marshall, 96, of Greer, was taken by her Savior Jesus Christ on August 18, 2016.

She was born in Valkaria, Florida on October 4, 1919.

Lillie was the daughter of the late James Eli and Hattie Raulerson Henderson.

She was married to the late O.C. Marshall for 56 years.

Lillie was also predeceased by three sisters, Mabel Holly, Ann Urbanski, Thelma Hooks and one brother, Harley "Sam? Henderson.

Lillie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was retired from Broward County, Florida school system.

Lillie loved her church and was a member of the Mother?s Class at Burnsview Baptist Church.

Surviving:

She is survived by a son, Curtis Marshall (Joan) of Duncan; two daughters, Janice Pickett (Phil) and Sherrie Getgasorn (Sid) all of Greer; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Darrah (Brian) of Greenwood, Jeff Pickett (Paige) of Lakewood, Colorado, Jason Getgasorn (Tiff) of Lyman and Jacob Getgasorn of Greer; six great-grandchildren, Beka and Sarah Darrah, Oli and Hattie Getgasorn and Harlowe and Miller Pickett; and several special nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to all the wonderful caregivers at NHC-Pelham.

Funeral Services:

A celebration of life service will be held at Burnsview Baptist Church, Greer on Sunday, August 21, 2016; with visitation from 1:00 until 2:45 p.m. and the service at 3:00 p.m., conducted by Rev. Tim Huckaby, Rev. Curtis Marshall, Rev. Roger Clark and words by Rev. William B. Jennings.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Jason Getgasorn, Jacob Getgasorn, Daniel Holbrook, Brian Darrah, Beka Darrah and Sarah Darrah.

Honorary escort will be Jeff Pickett, Elizabeth Darrah, and the Mother?s Sunday School Class.

The family is at their respective homes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Burnsview Baptist Church Building Fund, 9690 Reidville Road, Greer, SC 29651.
