Lillie Myral Nelson Terry, 98, widow of Fred Oscar Terry, died August 26, 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

A native of Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Andy and Exia Simmons Nelson, a retired textile employee and of the Church of God of Prophecy faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are three sons, Darrell Terry (Connie) of Antelope, California, Sonny Terry (Mary Jo) of Elk Grove, California and Artis Terry (Lavonda) of Powdersville; one daughter, Wilma Hand (Rhett) of Simpsonville; one brother, David Nelson of Wellford; one sister, Pearl Boon of Pelham; thirteen grandchildren; and many great and great-great-grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by a son, Harold Terry and a daughter, Oretha Arnold.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Wayne Hinton and Rev. Jim Thomas.

Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family is at the home of the grandson, Danny Hand, 421 Plamandon Drive, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
