Lois Sloan Hawkins, 82, passed away on December 15, 2018 at her home.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Clyde Louie and Josie Herd Sloan, she was a homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church for 60 years.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Bobby Joe Hawkins of the home; one son, Richard Hawkins (Kathy) of Reedley, CA; one daughter, Diane Berg (John) of Campobello; one brother, Rev. Harold Sloan (Mildred) of Greer; one sister, Bernice Smith (David) of Lyman; five grandchildren, Stephen Hawkins (Jennifer), Jason Hammond, Amie Felthouse (Darren), Jennifer Hammond and Kelly Berg; four great-grandchildren, Austin Hawkins, Aidan Hawkins, Neely Hammond and Lucas Hammond and one special niece, Linda Batson.

Mrs. Hawkins was predeceased by one daughter, Vickie Hammond.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Odell Moseley and Rev. David Cobb.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Michael Sloan, Tim Sloan, Mark Sloan, Jason Hammond, Dean Johnson and Mack Bailey.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
