Lonita Powell Vaughn, 81, of 120 Wellington Road, Wellford, formerly of Greer, the wife of the late Jimmie Ray Vaughn, daughter of the late Elzie and Gladys Stokes Powell, died at her home, July 19, 2013.

Lonita and her husband were long time members of the Elks and Shrine club. Her late husband was a Deacon of Apalache Baptist Church. She was a member of New Covenant Fellowship and was a homemaker.

Surviving:

Lonita is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Brian DeVito.

Funeral Services:

A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday in the Vaughn Family Cemetery, at the Fairview Baptist Church, 1300 Locust Hill Road, Greer, SC, conducted by Rev. Keith Hannon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Providence Hospice, 1 East Sundance Drive, Easley, S.C. 29642.
