Maj. Charles Oliver Robinson, 83, formerly of Fayetteville, NC, died March 31, 2018 at Thrive at Greer, SC.

A native of Duncan, SC, he was the son of the late Vinson and Launa Robinson.

He served 24 years in the US Army, including two tours in Vietnam, retiring as a Major.

Surviving:

Surviving are: one daughter, Sandra Robinson/Warren Preston of Arlington, VA, three sons, Leland Robinson/Bonita of Hope Mills, NC, Greg Robinson/Julie of Williamston, SC and MSG Steven Miller/Amy of Linden, NC and seven grandchildren, Cory/Tacie, Amanda, Ashley Robinson, Douglas Preston and Colin, Meghan, Charlotte Miller.

He is predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Lucretia Lunny Robinson and a daughter Thetis Robinson.

Funeral Services:

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 4, 12:30 to 1:45 p.m., followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. at Wood Mortuary Chapel.

Burial with Full Military Honors will follow at Wood Memorial Park.
