Malcolm Griff Sanders, Sr., 87, died January 10, 2017.

A native of Travelers Rest, son of the late Clarence Jake and Margaret Smith Sanders, he was a self-employed carpenter, a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Martha Hayes Sanders; two sons, Wayne Sanders, (Sherry) of Taylors and Malcolm "Mac" Sanders, Jr., (Tammie) of the home; one sister, Carolyn Gertrude Lord of Travelers Rest; four grandchildren, Cora Sanders, Brandon Sanders, Keri Sanders and Karli Powell and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Steve Hawkins and Rev. Nathan Thomas.

Visitation will be held 7:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary.
