Mary Lewis Alewine, 75, died August 22, 2012 at McCall Hospice House.

A native of Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Clyde D. and Ina Harmon Lewis, she was a former employee of Mervyn?s Department Store, a member of Taylors First Baptist Church, and a volunteer for the American Red Cross.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband, Col. Martin A. Alewine, Jr., USAF, Retired; two sons, Martin (Marty) Alewine III and his wife, Cindy of Knoxville, Tennessee and Keith Alewine and his wife, Sherry of Lake Stevens, Washington; a daughter, Pam Engelker and her husband, Jeff of Abilene, Texas; and nine grandchildren, Megan Alewine, Caily Alewine, B.J. Alewine, Jo Mae Alewine, Rebekah Alewine, Samuel Alewine, Mary Engelker, James Engelker and Noah Engelker.

Mrs. Alewine was predeceased by a brother, Lt. Col. Cecil D. Lewis and a grandson, Martin Shane Alewine.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Taylors First Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Paul Jimenez and Dr. Jimmie Harley. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Honorary escorts will be the Tyler-Shaw Sunday School Class and The Legacy Choir.

Visitation will be held 12:30-2:15 p.m. Saturday at the church.
The family is at the home.
