Michael Ray Schaffer, 47, died August 7, 2014 at Greer Memorial Hospital.

A native of Rockford, Illinois, son of Ronald L. and Stephanie Schaffer of Spartanburg, he was a 1988 graduate of Wofford College, an employee of Rock Tenn, and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Also surviving are his wife, Jodi Stewart Schaffer of the home; two daughters, Taylor Schaffer and Megan Schaffer both of the home; a brother, Jeff Schaffer of Chesnee; and a sister, Michelle Schaffer of Moore.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Fairview Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Eddie Leopard and Dr. Chet Andrews.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 2:00-3:15 p.m. Sunday at the church.

The family is at the home.
