Mildred Catherine Smith Weston, 89, widow of Rev. John H. Weston entered Heaven's gates Oct. 30, 2016.
Born April 17, 1927 to the late Swinton Soloman and Mary Elizabeth Brissey Smith. Mildred served alongside her husband in the ministry in early years as an evangelist and then in pastoring churches in Mississippi, Georgia, and South Carolina. They were charter members of Praise Cathedral Church of God.
Surviving:
She is survived by three daughters, Judith "Judy" Page, Brenda Burris and Sharon Coleman (Gary); four sons, John (Bonnie), David (Nancy), Rev. Steve (Sheryl), and Paul (Wendy) Weston; 21 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services:
Visitation will be held 1-2:15 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, 2016 at Praise Cathedral.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday at Praise Cathedral, conducted by Rev. Jerry Madden and Rev. Bobby Johnson.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Judith "Judy" Page.
