Mildred Forrester Arledge, 88, widow of William Dewey Arledge, of 1948 Fews Chapel Rd., died Sept. 3, 2015, at the Cottages at Brushy Creek.
A native of Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late James A. and Bernice Moon Forrester, a retired employee of Blue Ridge High School with the Greenville County School District and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Nathan and Dennis Arledge both of Greer, and Norman Arledge of Landrum; three daughters, Patricia Davis of Taylors, Phyllis Gosnell of Greer and Sandra Arledge of Landrum; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Angelee Henderson, Irene Connor and Ethel Prophes.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Terry Greene and Dr. Tommy Harvey. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 6?8 p.m. Saturday at Wood Mortuary.
The family is at respective homes.
