Mrs. Shirley Jean Nesbitt, 62, of 5004 Poplar Springs Dr., wife of Marvin Porter Nesbitt Sr. of Spartanburg, died Wednesday April 16, 2014 in Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.

Native of Spartanburg County, SC, She was a daughter of the late Albert Irby and the late Lelia Mae Murray, a former Childcare Provider and a member of Mission Church of The Lord Jesus Christ in Charlotte, NC.

Also surviving are: sons, Marvin Nesbitt Jr. of Atlanta, GA and Evaney Lamont Nesbitt of Charlotte, NC; a daughter, Sheisha Nikkiea Nesbitt of Charlotte, NC; brothers, David Lee Murray and Luther Norman of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Roc-M Lamont Nesbitt of Atlanta, GA, Jermaine Lamont Walls, Khileil Lamont Walls-Nesbitt, Jayden Lamont Nesbitt and Rakwon Lamont Nesbitt, all of Charlotte; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 in Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Wright and Bishop Aaron Raley, officiating.

Burial will follow in Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
