Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, age 87, went to be with his Precious Savior on September 13, 2020.

Ed was born in West Columbia, SC. He spent his life in West Columbia, Irmo and most recently making his home in Lyman, SC.

He was a faithful member of Northwood Baptist Church in Greer, SC.

Ed loved golfing, fishing and hunting, but most of all his family.

He enjoyed a long career with Southern Bell and then was hired as the first Director of the SC Telephone Association. He was a proud member of the Army National Guard.

Surviving:

He is survived by his wife, Charlene Clement; his son Donald Clement (Debbie); his daughter Wendy Garbinsky; his beloved granddaughter, Shelby Garbinsky and her fianc� David Evans.

Ed was loved and cared for by Charlotte Ford (Hap), Buddy Stanley, Ernie Stanley (Judy), sister-in-law, Marsha Williford, and Charlie Stanley (Kelly) during his life and especially the last 8 years of his extended illness.

He is predeceased by his parents, Jerome and Dora Clement; his son, Ronald and brother, Billy.

Funeral Services:

Private services will be held for the family.

The family is at the home.
