Nancy Christine Godfrey Bridwell, 65, of 350 St. Mark Road, died June 23, 2012 at her home.
A native of Laurens County, daughter of the late Floyd W. and Jennie Mae Harvey Godfrey, she was a retired employee of Homelite and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
She was the loving wife of Wayne Bridwell for 48 years.
Surviving:
Also surviving are two brothers, F.W. Godfrey, Jr. and his wife, Evelyn of Greer and Raymond Godfrey of Campobello; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Brent O?Shields and Jennie and Don Weathers all of Greer.
She was a friend to all and loved her nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bridwell was predeceased by one brother, Walter Daniel Godfrey.
Funeral Services:
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Emmanuel Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Shane Hull and Rev. Charles Bishop. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Donald Johnson, Mickey Johnson, Rick Parker, Randy Godfrey, Chris Weathers and Sammy Godfrey.
Visitation will be held 6:00-9:00 p.m. Monday at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home.
