Pauline E. Dixon, 82, beloved wife for 61 years to John A. Dixon died February 22, 2015 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Waterville, Maine January 22, 1933, the daughter of Paul W. and Alice P. Morency. She will be lovingly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She was an expert in the art of cross-stitch and an accomplished seamstress.
Surviving in addition to her husband of Greer are four children, Geoffrey B. and his wife, Peggy Dixon of Grottoes, VA, Kathryn L. and her husband, Randall Elliott of Corinth, ME, Lisa L. and her husband, Daniel Bishop of Saco, ME, Paula J and her husband, Steven Collins of Jacksonville, Fla., and a sister, Arlene Comber of Vassalboro, ME; six grandchildren, Jeremy and Jennifer Dixon, Nicholas and Caitlin Elliott, Monique and Courtney Bishop; three great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Isaac Fishel, and Sydney Elliott; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father and mother and a brother, Donald.
A memorial service will be held at The Veterans Cemetery in Augusta, ME at a later date.
