Pierce Baker Gambrell, 44, passed away January 4, 2021.

Born in Greenville County March 7, 1976, son of June Pierce Gambrell of Lyman and the late William Larry ?Goose? Gambrell.

He grew up in Lyman, South Carolina and was an employee of Walmart #4583 and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Pierce loved to be outdoors and his favorite place to spend time was in the mountains beside a river.

Surviving:

Surviving Pierce are his son, Nicholas Alexander Gambrell of Duncan; a sister and brother-in-law Stephanie and Mark Bennefield of Greer; a niece, Lindsey Bennefield of Greer; and wife Kristy Sherwin Gambrell of Duncan, and many loving family members and friends.

Pierce was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Marjorie Pierce and his paternal grandparents, Jack and Mildred Gambrell.

Funeral Services:

Pierce loved the outdoors and the lake so an informal visitation and memorial will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Lyman Lake Lodge, 200 Lyman Lodge Road, Lyman, SC, 2 - 4 p.m.

The family is at the home of his mother, June Gambrell.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to benefit his son Nicholas.
