On June 28, 2022, Judge Werner moved to his highest court to be with his Savior.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Ralph and Flossie McDade Werner, his love for helping people solve their problems encompassed 39 years as a Greenville County Magistrate with his retirement in 2006 at which he was awarded the Order of the Palmetto from the Governor for his service to the community.

Surviving:

Carey has a special niece, Lou Julian, that he thought very highly of and enjoyed going to the beach with along with her mother, Dot Julian, whenever possible.

Mr. Werner was predeceased by his wife, Sue Garrett Werner.

Funeral Services:

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, July 1, 2022, at Mountain View Cemetery conducted by Mrs. Dottie Bryson.

Visitation will be held after the service at the cemetery.

The family will be at their respective homes.
