Ronald Timothy LaBonte, 60, widower of Phyllis Geraldine Althenn-LaBonte, died Jan. 24, 2017 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
A native of Waterville, Maine, son of the late William and Anecettia Belanger LaBonte, he was a retired correction officer for Greenville City and a member of Salvation Army Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Cynthia Goforth (Steven) and Nadene Vincent (Tommy) all of Greenville; one son, Ronald Althenn of Simpsonville; one brother, Jeff LaBonte of Maine; one sister, Debbie Gay of Maine; and three grandchildren, Nicholas Goforth, Addison Goforth and Patricia Vincent.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Major Pete Costas. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Travelers Rest.
Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26,2017 at The Wood Mortuary.
