Ralph Edward Snipes, 79, passed away on October 1, 2018.
A native of Atlanta, GA, son of the late Andrew Jackson and Donna Virginia Davidson Snipes, he worked for Stevens Aviation for 40 years, retired from Professional Aviation, a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Highland Baptist Church.
Surviving:
Surviving are his wife, Pat Eleanor Tilley Snipes of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Pete McLean of Greer; one son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Cherie Nelson of Roebuck, one sister, Dorothy Mills of Kennesaw, GA; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Snipes was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services:
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018 at Highland Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Malcolm Lance. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jackie Fleming, Tom Henderson, Jack O?Shields, Bill Reid, Donnie Brown and Chuck Bridwell.
Honorary escort will be the Gleaner?s Sunday School Class.
Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home.
