Alma Renee Williams DeYoung, 80, died December 7, 2013 after an extended illness.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late O.E. ?Bill? and Alma Corbin Williams, she was a homemaker and a member of Apalache Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Jewell DeYoung of the home; one daughter, Kim Sparks and her husband Phillip of Lyman; three sons, Chris DeYoung and his wife Joyce of Greer, Rev. Brett DeYoung of Columbia and Scott DeYoung of Greer; one sister, Sherry Effler and her husband Ryan of Lyman; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Eddie Cooper, Rev. Keith Kelly and Rev. Brett DeYoung. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family is at the home.
