Richard Carl Howell, 66, passed away September 18, 2016 at his home.

A native of Greer, SC, he was a son of the late Lyman G. Howell, the owner-operator of Greer Roofing Company, of the Baptist faith, and was a US Army veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Marie Snoddy Howell of the home; a daughter, Anna H. Lindley (Brad); a son, Sam Howell (Lindsey); a brother, George Howell all of Greer; one sister, Saundra Guerard of Summerville; and four grandchildren, Eli and Sara Lindley and Paige and Sadie Howell.

He was also predeceased by a brother, Mike Howell.

Funeral Services:

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Wood Memorial Park, conducted by Dr. Hayne Griffin, Ralph Johnson and Ken Howard.

Pallbearers will be Ralph Johnson, Mike Bullock, Stan Coster, Mickey Brown, Freddy Lindley and Gary Blackwell.

The family is at the home.
