Richard John Godin, 77, passed away May 5, 2018.

A native of Bronx, New York, son of the late Roland and Rose Toland Godin, he was a U.S. Air Force Vietnam Veteran, retired after 23 years from Elmwood Park Police Department in New Jersey and was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Georgette George Godin of the home; three daughters, Bambi Rillo of Ogdensburg, New Jersey, Darlene Kelly (Brian) of Howell, New Jersey and Christine O?Dwyer of Bayville, New Jersey; two sons, Terry O?Leary (Darlene) of Florida and Bill O?Dwyer (Jessica) of Whippany, New Jersey; a brother, Arthur Godin of Bridgewater, New Jersey; two sisters, Diane Vogel of Vera Beach, Florida and Lorraine Sharon of Baltimore, Ohio; and thirteen grandchildren.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, conducted by Father Jaime.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 901 River Road, Greer, SC 29651.
