Richard Philip Fulghum, 48, passed away November 24, 2017.

A native of St. Pauls, NC, he was the son of the late Claude and Elizabeth Askew Fulghum.

Richard worked twenty-five years in the restaurant industry, and was the general manager at One North Restaurant in Chicago, IL, for many years. He also worked in restaurants in Baltimore, Minneapolis, and most recently in the Greenville, SC area, and was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church, St. Pauls, NC and was also a graduate of The North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston Salem, NC.

Richard enjoyed many artistic expressions, including decorating many of the restaurants that he served.

Surviving:

Surviving are one sister, Janet Mize (Doug) of Greer; three nieces, Rachel, Mary Katherine and Kayla Mize all of Greer; an aunt, Janet Sipple of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and a close friend, Melanie Sirois of Chicago, Illinois.

Funeral Services:

A memorial service will be held 4:30 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2017 at Greer First Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Doug Mize.

A separate service will be held in St. Pauls, NC at a later date.

Family will greet friends after the service at the church on Monday.

The family is at the home of the sister, Janet Mize, 209 Landing Ferry Way, Greer, SC 29650.
