Rosa Mae Powell, 79, of 300 Harvey Road, died January 20, 2013 at McCall Hospice House.

A native of Athens, Georgia, daughter of the late Robert Gibson and Della Mae Haynes Powell, she was a former textile worker and a member of Good News Baptist Church. In her later years, she was a caregiver for the elderly.

Surviving:

Surviving are two nephews, six nieces and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Miss Powell was predeceased by six brothers and five sisters.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Good News Baptist Church, 1592 S. Highway 14, Greer, conducted by Rev. Daniel Waters.

Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 12:30-1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

The family is at the home of her niece, Lisa Miller, 125 Milford Church Road, Taylors, SC 29687.
