Roy "R.C." Allen, Jr. 67, of 8 Spindleback Way, died April 7, 2012 at his residence.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Roy Clarence Allen, Sr., and Mattie Sue Tooley Allen, he was a retired S.C. State Trooper, a U.S. Marine Veteran and a member of Milford Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Twinkle West Allen of the home; and a brother, Richard Allen of Greer.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Monday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Herschel Crain and Rev. Billy Elder. Burial will follow in Milford Baptist Church cemetery.

Honorary escort will be the members of the S.C. Highway Patrol.

Visitation will be held 2:00-3:30 p.m. Monday at Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
