Ruby Mae Cartee Ross, 74, widow of Richard James Ross, passed away, Friday, July 21, 2017, at Mountain Home Health & Rehab.

A native of Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Minnie Crow Cartee; a retired employee of Reliance Electric and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Todd Smith of Greer; a son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Tammy McCraw of Lyman; two sisters, Virginia McAbee of Lyman and Mary Ann Belcher of Campobello; four grandchildren, Steven McCraw, Megan Kennedy (William), Brandon Smith and Nicholas Smith and two great-grandchildren, Corah Kennedy and Evelyn Kennedy.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Ross was predeceased by her son James McCraw; one sister, Agnes Maxwell and one brother, Kenneth Cartee.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017, at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Sam Coates.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Cancer Society of Greenville County, 113 Mills Avenue, Greenville, SC 29605.

The family is at their respective homes.
