Ruth Snow Howell, 97, widow of D.I. "Bolt" Howell, died December 20, 2014 at her home.

A native of Duncan, SC, she was a daughter of the late John P. and May Green Snow, a retired employee of J.P. Stevens and member of Victor Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Don Bartlett of Greer; son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Judy Howell of Waveland, MS; a brother, Edd Snow of Duncan; five grandchildren, Terry and Lisa Bartlett of Spartanburg, Donna and Bruce Shealy of Greer, Stephanie and Travis Wright of Tazewell, TN, Michael and Anne Howell of Atlanta, GA, and Meredith and Stephen Taylor of Alexandria, VA; eight great-grandchildren, Amber and Kyle Shropshire of Roebuck, Taylor Bartlett, and Lindsey Shealy all of Greer, Josh Mercer of Spartanburg, Samuel and Gabrielle Wright of Tazwell, TN, Shep Taylor of Alexanderia, VA and Mary Wallace Howell of Atlanta, GA; and two great-great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Kylee Shropshire of Roebuck, SC.

She was predeceased by a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen "Steve" M. and Patty S. Howell.

Funeral Services:

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Ken Vickery and Dr. Travis Wright.

Visitation will be held at the graveside following the service.
