Ruth "Granny" Barnett Strange, 100, widow of Herman Lee Strange, passed away May 26, 2017 at Greer Health & Rehab.

A native of Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Eunice Hawkins Barnett, a homemaker and member of Southside Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two sons, Leon Strange of Landrum and Ronnie Strange of Woodruff; one daughter, Barbara Martin of Greer; six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great-grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by a son, Bobby Strange.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 28, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary.

Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 2:30 until 3:45 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family is at their respective homes.
